Here at LiliahDuke, we work on a variety of projects. From traditional tailoring and mending to custom looks. No matter how big or small the fix is, you can always expect the best craftsmanship. With each project, you can expect regular communication, mutual understanding of expectations, and a clear plan of execution.
What to expect when working with us at LiliahDuke:
Consultation

Planning
After the initial consultation, the process of developing a plan for your project gets developed. For customs, up-cycle and tailoring that needs fabric ordered. We will order fabric samples. We will gather all information necessary to create an estimate for your project. When we have the details nailed down, an estimate will be sent for approval. If approved, we require a 50% deposit to order materials and secure your spot on our workroom calendar. For customs that require fabric: once fabric has been ordered, we will schedule a start date. If the project is an up-cycle or re-work or mending and you live out of the twin cities/metro area we will also plan the delivery of your project to the workroom. If you are in the Twin cities we will plan the pick up or delivery of the project. The project can be dropped off on the day of consultations. The deposit will be due that day of consultation. Mending and other projects that are made to order or re-works that don't require fabric to be ordered 50% deposit is still required to get on the workroom calendar .
Production
Tailoring, made to orders and customs are all done by hand. Our sewers realize each and every project is special and are committed maintaining the high quality standards that clients have come to expect from us.
We will work closely with the clients to ensure that standards are being met as well as timeline being kept. Any changes needed to the project may require a quote and timeline adjustment. For projects that need fittings, this will be comucated to the client and arranged with-in the timeline.
Made to order:
All made to order pieces will be made once the piece has been ordered and deposit has been received . For the best fit for our customers, made to order will have your measurements included along with a standardize size. The pattern will be adjusted to you specific measurements and preferred fit. To insure the garment fits the best. This includes individual leos as well.
Measurements : We use your bust, waist and hip measurements. Along with your cup size, torso length, height and weight distribution to ensure the perfect fit. If there is any issues with fit, we will remake or alter to correct the adjustments, this is at no extra cost to you.
How to order :
Select the garment you want from the made to order tab. Check out, no size selection is needed.
Submit your measurements. Within, a 12- hour window a form will be emailed to you that will walk you how to take accurate measurements and steps to submit them.
Once we receive your measurements we will start making you a cotton mock up ( Note for some garments this will be a standardized sizing mock up). This is where you can let me know any adjustments you would like to the final piece. If comfortable you may send us video/pictures of fitting to help out with the fitting adjustments.
Once the final adjustments are confirmed, we will start making the final custom tailored garment.
Every piece has a fit guarantee, meaning any adjustment or fix ups that need to be adjusted can be done with no extra cost to you. This is valid for 30 days after delivery.
NOTE: these items are non returnable due to them being made specifically to your body measurements.
Customs And Alterations + Mending:

When you fill out the contact us form, please list specifics in as much detail as you can. Reference pictures or where things need to be tailored or mended are helpful . Again be as specific as you can be this will help with the consultations.
This can be prom dresses, suits, recreations or your favorite pair of jeans that need to be mended or taken in. For mending and alterations in the initial consultation we will go over the set prices and fitting if needed. For customs we will go over the project how much the fabric will be along with other details. There is a 50% deposit required for all projects. This will get you on the workroom calendar and will help order any notions or fabric that is needed. Clients will be updated on the project and if anything changes.
If you live outside the twin cities metro area: All Custom orders will be shipped to you, so there may not be a chance to get a fitting. Fitting is to ensure having the correct measurement down. Depending on the garment it will be similar process to the made to orders. Once you get the muslin mock up or the first phase of the garment if the fabric is too different from cotton . You are able to send pictures or a detail email of what is wrong with the fit. It will get sent back to make the final adjustment for the final piece to be shipped out for you to enjoy.
For mending or alterations projects, the garment will need to be shipped to the workroom, in the initial consultation we will work out the best way to do this. Once the project is done it will be shipped back to you to enjoy.

Off the rack:
These are one of kind pieces that are fresh off the runway. Made in a set size ready to ship out as soon as you buy it. The fastest option for if you want a one of kind pieces in a short timeframe. Alterations can be done if requested on them for fitting purposes that will come with additional cost. They are the fastest to ship out and to have at doorstep. Usually ship out 1-2 business days. Will be delivered with in a week.
Leotards:
Each leotard is hand crafted there are two options, made to order leotard or off the rack. Made to order leotard will be made once your order is placed and paid for, then shipped out. Off the rack, are leotards already made and ready to ship out. Off the rack ship out the fastest.
Made to order/custom:As soon as you put in your order and size for a leotard we will work on getting it shipped out and made for you in a timely matter.
Please note: This could take up or a month.
Custom team leotards, please note that the leotards for a team. These will entail consultation to go over the design, and determine how many you will be needing. The pricing will be sent to you. After you accept the pricing a deposit of 50% will be required.
Note: That large custom leotard orders can take up to two months to complete. Depending on style you want them. Keep that in mind when ordering for season.
Off the rack: created in small batches, these designs are already made and ready to be shipped out as soon as you place the order. Please review the sizing chart to be aware of your correct size to ensure the best fit.
Delivery:
We will ship it out to you. Shipping costs will be included in the quoted price, for customs and made to orders. Off the rack there is already an $5.00 delivery fee add as a flat rate.
Provide us with the updated and correct address to ship it to you.
Return policy:

These items are non refundable due to them being made specifically to your body and measurements. Exchanges may be made for off the rack items.
